We are pleased to announce the release of Snowplow Tag for GTM-SS v0.4.0!
This release adds support for attaching context entities to your events. This can be achieved through the new Context entities configuration section under Advanced Event Settings. You can specify both Custom and Global Entities: Custom Entities are attached where the event name matches the incoming event, whereas Global Entities will be applied to all events.
Furthermore, it is possible to apply your Context entities settings also to Snowplow tp2 events, which the Snowplow Tag by default only relays. This could be used in cases where replacing the original context entities is desired before the events reach your Snowplow collector.
With many thanks @volderette for the suggestion, the Snowplow Tag now allows forwarding selected cookies in the request headers, which can be configured through the new Cookie Headers section.
Under the hood this release also fixes a bug related to setting the SP-Anonymous
header.
