Snowplow Open Source logging format

Hi community,

I have deployed Snowplow Open Source, and I am trying to get all the logs IN JSON format. I have deployed all components:

  • collector
  • enrich
  • iglu-server
  • …

I don’t have development experience in Scala… , so I don’t really know how to change the logging format or if it is even possible for these Snowplow components.

Why am I doing this?

  • I have integrated my deployment with DataDog, and I would love to get all the logs in JSON format.

Any ideas?

Hi @julian.alves ,

JSON logging isn’t supported natively by Snowplow apps.

Which cloud are you using ? It might be possible to export the logs from Cloudwatch or Stackdriver as JSONs.
