We need data to become a core competence within the business and a data champion to make this happen.

You love data ! You have an intimate understanding of the technicalities and practicalities of (big) data management, are keen to take on responsibility and take on an exciting, new challenge.
You are a curious learner, always interested in trying new techniques and staying abreast of the fast-changing world of data management, analytics and . You are passionate about using data to deliver enhanced customer experiences and deep, actionable customer insights.

You possess a range of technical skills that enable you to design the appropriate data model and build the data sets required to support marketing and anlytical applications. You are comfortable and confident working collaboratively within a talented and multi-skilled team environment.

Essential Skills :
SQL (Postgres)
Experience with any reporting tool such as (Tableau /Business Objects /other)
Advanced Excel (Macro/Pivots)
Data pipelines
ETL design
Data warehousing
Data visualisation techniques
Understanding of nosql concepts
Understanding of data modelling

The Task at Hand
Act as Data Champion within the First 10 Tech team.

Setup and maintain data sets to enable the analysis of web, email and social data from our clients’ digital properties as well as integrate these with other systems that support :

● Marketing automation

● BI/Reporting

● Personalisation (web / email)

● Wordpress plugins

Support an in-house Data Analyst to provide reports for internal and external clients that provide deep, actionable insights into web/email/social behaviours. This involves setting up data pipelines using an SQL runner that is based on (but not limited to) an AWS Redshift database.

Productivity and efficiency (in relation to your time and the tables/queries you produce)

Salary Β£30 K - Β£ 40 K depending on experience (although we have some flexibility (either way) around this salary
range for the right candidate)
