I’m thinking of using this plugin to fork my GA data to my Snowplow collector. However, I already call snowplow.trackPageView using a tag on GTM. Will fork GA payload be duplicated?
@sunshineo, the Snowplow data (tracking) is not the same as GA tracking. If you do use Google Analytics that data is sent to Google. By using the plugin you can have a copy of that data in your own storage and own it. That will allow you to run your own analytics on that data and not be restricted by the reports Google provide you with.
Thank you ihor! Do you happen to know what is the endpoint the plugin is hitting? what is the /vendor/version endpoint? I cannot find any documentation.
The path on the collector should be /com.google.analytics/v1
