We are pleased to announce a patch release to Enrich, which is aimed at improved stability of enrich-kinesis, our newest enrich app for aws pipelines.
The latest release version is now 3.1.1, which builds upon the 3.1.0 release that was announced last week. We have also provided a patched 3.0.2 version, for pipelines which are not yet on the 3.1.x series.
The patched version takes a different approach for re-trying failed writes into Kinesis, and it adds retry logic for fetching enrichment configuration from dynamodb. It also fixes a bug which made it impossible to disable cloudwatch metrics on the Kinesis producer.
Upgrading
If you are already using a “3.x” version of Enrich, then upgrading is as simple as pulling the newest docker image:
docker pull snowplow/snowplow-enrich-kinesis:3.1.1
