Can we Setup Snowplow without using AWS?

I wanted to clarify that is it possible to use snowplow without any dependency on aws at all only using KAFKA and POSTGRES alone . I think in the setup manual till storage loader everything looks fine, but in order for it run further we need s3 support can we do away with this
