We are pleased to announce the release of Amplitude Tag for GTM-SS v0.3.0!
This release adds the options to override the default setting of the device and user identifiers in the Amplitude payload. This new configuration section provides control over those Amplitude properties (device_id and user_id), at least one of which is required to be set by the Amplitude HTTP API V2.

UPGRADING
The Amplitude HTTP API V2 GTM Server-side Tag is published in the GTM Gallery, and the option to update should become automatically available in your GTM SS instance. Compatible defaults are provided for the new options and you can still review the changes through the GTM-SS Updates UI.
