What units for s3.max-timeout?

I am configuring an S3 loader, following instructions on:

The documentation does not list the units (e.g. seconds/milliseconds/nanoseconds) expected by s3.max-timeout. Which units are expected?

As a side-note, the use of Wiki (instead of tracked-file-based) documentation prevents me easily enhancing the public documentation once I have found the answer.
