We’re pleased to announce the release of the Snowplow Objective-C Tracker version 0.9.0. Here are the release notes:

This release centers around a couple new features: application contexts and lifecycle events.

  • Application contexts add supplemental information to events, such as the application version number and build number.

  • Lifecycle events are sent when the application goes to background and foreground, so they are useful for tracking user sessions in terms of when the application is open.
