We have released version 0.4.3 of Snowflake Transformer, the component that converts Snowplow enriched events into a Snowflake-compatible format. This is a maintenance release, branching off the usual upgrade path (the latest version is 0.8.0).
The rationale for this release is to allow users who haven’t yet upgraded to Transformer 0.8.0 to use Loader 0.8.0 with storage integration authentication. The combination of Transformer 0.4.3 / Loader 0.8.0 requires that the EMR cluster is run on AMI version 5.19.0.
If you are using Snowflake Loader 0.4.2 and want to upgrade, we recommend skipping 0.4.3 and following the usual upgrade path. Transformer 0.4.3 is meant to be used just in the scenario described above.
