ReturnContractError

I’ve looked at past posts with the same ReturnContractError, however I’m still having issues with running snowplow-emr-etl-runner.

I’m currently using snowplow_emr_r89_plain_of_jars.zip and following the config example here yet I’m still running into issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Not my usual area but a quick sweep over the config gives me a hunch:

I imagine one of these is required. (Although I don’t know what ‘placement’ refers to)

I tried setting a value of us-east-2 on the placement field (also not sure what ‘placement’ refers to…) and I’m still getting the same ReturnContractError :frowning:

@dtran, you are missing the required section here: https://github.com/snowplow/snowplow/blob/r89-plain-of-jars/3-enrich/emr-etl-runner/config/config.yml.sample#L66-L67. It is obsolete from the release R90+ but is required in R89.
