Can't start EmrEtlRunner (SocketError)

After few days googling and reading manuals I still can’t start emr-etl-runner.

Terminal input:
./snowplow-emr-etl-runner --config config/config.yml --resolver config/resolver.json --enrichments config/enrichments

Terminal output:

My config:

Best regards,

Hi @Stan,

I can see a few problems with your configuration file.

Could you replace its value in 2 places to just eu-west-1? When the last character is there it’s actually signifies an availability zone in the region, not region itself. The corrected lines should look like below.

    region: eu-west-1

    ami_version: 4.5.0
    region: eu-west-1

###in bucket

Your value is just snwlpk-logs. It should be properly referenced. I suspect this is the reason you are getting that error. If this is the actual bucket where your Clodfront distribution writes the logs to then it should look like

        - s3://snwlpk-logs

Note the protocol (s3) in font of the bucket name. You also could use s3n.

Hi, @ihor

Thank you, for your reply, I fixed config.yml, but still have same errors.

Best regards,

Could you privide the link to your updated configuration file, please? Alternatively, paste it in here (with credentials removed) in between a pair of triple ticks to retain the indentation as shown below:

Also where do you run your EmrEtlRunner? Is it in the same region? Any proxy engaged?

Thank you for you help, something started, but now I have new errors
