Any issues if i were to adapt iglu to also host and manage schemas meant for other kinds of data?

I know that Iglu is snowplow’s schema registry. And primarily handles event data.

If i were to adapt Iglu to also manage schema meant for other kinds of data such as products, customers, etc, what issues should i be aware of?
